Weasel has been homed – 10.6.21
Weasel is in foster near Fleet, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 15th May 2021 and he was born on the 2nd August 2015.
He is a friendly, calm and affectionate lad but watch out when toys are about, his energy is unlocked and Weasel enjoys a good game on his own or with his human friends!
This chap may look old but once you discover what is hidden behind the surface you will be shocked at how gentle and playful this lovely boy is!
Weasel has spent some time in a home environment, he is a quick learner and housetraining for this boy will be completed in a flash!
He has always got a waggy tail and meets new people in a gentle manner. Weasel could be homed with another dog or he could be homed on his own. This boy is easy going and after all these years without a home he just wants his own family to call his own!
Weasel walks nicely on a lead, he travels well and can get himself in and out of the car by himself. This boy is a must to be seen if you love the grey faced hounds, he has oodles of character that he wants to share with you. He loves his toys and prefers to play wth the cuddly sort, once he has found one, he will trot back to his bed to have a cuddle with it!
He has given us no cause for concern around any other breed of dog or children, that we have met on our walks or our trips to the vets! Due to his size and playfulness, smaller children could be a bit fearful towards him. Weasel is such a gentle boy but once in play mode he can become more excited. He could be homed with children but only to a family that are used to larger, playful hounds.
Weasel is a delight to have in our care, he is always so pleased to see you with his waggy tail and ‘please cuddle me’ face! He really is a people’s dog. Weasel loves to be brushed and have his teeth cleaned, he is very patient with it too! This lad enjoys his ‘special time’ with his human friends, he will stand next to you so you can stroke him for as long as you would like to. Weasel is currently moulting, once his summer coat has come through he will have a lovely shine on his silky fur.
Weasel would make a fantastic PAT dog, with his gentle nature and providing he meets the PAT dog criteria.
