Happy Easter Everyone

Greyhound Lifeline would like to wish all the volunteers and their families a Happy Easter.

Please keep your animals safe this weekend around all your Easter Eggs. Chocolate is highly toxic to dogs and cats and should be kept out of reach.  It can cause vomiting, tummy upsets, seizures, kidney failure and in some cases death.  Please contact your local vet immediately if your pet comes into contact with it.

Upcoming Events:

Bramshott Farm Country Park – Spring Open Day – Saturday 12th May – 10am- 2pm:

We will be attending this event, with some merchandise and greyhound representatives.

Greyhound Lifeline Open Day:

Greyhound Lifeline are hosting their annual Kennel Open Day on Sunday 20th May at 11am – 3pm.

Our Kennel Open Day has had to be re-scheduled because the original date we selected now clashes with the re-scheduled Fleet Half Marathon.

Our event will still be held at our site in Church Crookham, Fleet. It’ll be on from 11am until 3pm. We hope you’ll still free to come along and join us and with luck the weather may be better too.

Lots of stalls and attractions are planned to make a lovely day out for your family and of course greyhounds are very welcome too.

If you have already spread the word about the original date, please share the new date with those you originally told. Thank you for your understanding and apologies for the unexpected change.

We are looking for a number of items to help us have a fantastic Open Day.
If you have anything that would be suitable as a raffle prize we would love to have it!

Do you have any empty hanging baskets that you no longer require?

We are also looking for fleece material for our coat maker to make some more coats. We are running low on material!

Do you have any dog equipment that you no longer require e.g. bowls, leads, collars, toys that could be used at our Open Day?

If you can help with any of the items listed above please could you pop them along to the kennels for us. Please mark clearly on the bag that they are for the Open Day and leave them in our office.

We hope to see you all there.
