Our SUMMER FAIR is fast approaching!
We are very excited about our two day fair and hope you can join us to make it such a BIG event too!
DATES: Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th June.
VENUE: St James Park, Parklife Café, Southampton, SO15 5SD
(The event will be taking place in the tennis courts behind the café).
There will be plenty of signs directing you in!
Lots of stalls including – greyhound/dog merchandise, plant sale, homemade cakes, copper collection, Aqua jewellery, handcrafted gifts, children’s games and crafts, doggie games and plenty of treats for sale – ranging from homemade biscuits, bones, chews and a doggie lucky dip!
We will also have our own fun dog show – all dogs are welcome to attend and our kennel dogs will be present for our ‘homeless hound’ parade.

We have lots of classes planned, all dog breeds welcome to attend & take part.
At the fair we have a variety of stalls catering for all ages, plenty for everyone to enjoy!
What race/class will you enter?
Our ‘Greyhound Petting Area’ will be busy and some of our ‘Homeless Hounds’ will be in this area throughout the day, come and get a greyhound cuddle, they are the best!
The plants are growing fast and there will be plenty of vegetable & flower plants waiting for you to take home!
The ‘Dog Treat’ stall has already had plenty of interest from our kennel greyhounds so we are sure you’re dog(s) will enjoy those tasty treats too. We will have a selection of homemade dog biscuits including – liver cake, peanut butter crunchies & some vegetable bones. There will also be a wide range of natural treats for you to purchase too – cow, pig, rabbit ears, tripe, chicken feet, our popular ‘pick n mix’ and plenty more tasty treats.
The children’s area will also be very popular with a variety of games including ‘hook a duck’, lucky dip, face painting & a toy/book stall for the younger ones to enjoy.
Feeling peckish through the day – we will have a variety of homemade cakes for you to purchase. Parklife Cafe will be open for a variety of snacks & drinks, they will also have their ice cream parlour open, don’t forget your furry friends too – doggie ice cream is NOW available too from the café, treat them to some through the day!
The weekend is all about our furry friends – we have some fun games for them to enjoy including a dog agility course, sausage bobbing and so much more!
We will have areas of shade for our greyhound/dog friends to rest & cool down in and plenty of water to drink/have a lay in too! Bring your chairs and make a day of it!
The team are working hard making sure that this event is successful and that you all have a great day out.
