England, Hampshire, Lyndhurst – Great Global Greyhound Walk
We will be bringing all our kennel dogs to the walk, please come along and support Greyhound Lifeline. Drinks and snacks for both human and canine will be available at the end of the walk.
Event News:
We have had a few exciting weeks with the greyhounds and lots of different events for the them to enjoy too!
Our summer fair was a huge success and we are still talking about the lovely weekend we had, sharing it with all our wonderful volunteers and supporters.
During July we had a little bit of a rest, whilst still enjoying our time spent at The Bourne Show in Farnham. The kennel dogs were all on their very best behaviour of course and although a long day, a lot of fun was had too!
On Friday 4th August we sponsored an event held at Parklife Cafe, for the local families to enjoy. It was Parklife’s Bubble Day!
A very exciting day for both children and of course the big kids too (us adults)! Lots of fun was held at this event and free greyhound cuddles were of course available too, with lots of our greyhound friends and kennel ones all joining this fun day!
The beginning of August we shared a lovely day, despite the weather being miserably and wet with Morrisons, in Southwood, Farnborough. The local folk were very keen to see us and our beautiful greyhounds, the team had a fantastic day and raised a huge £538.44 just from ONE day outside their store!
Morrisons, in Southwood and in Fleet both have collection bins for us and we are frequently emptying all the lovely goods for our kennel greyhounds to enjoy. Thank you to Morrisons and their customers, we are very grateful for your kindness.
We still have lots more events to enjoy throughout the summer, come along and join us, help us raise the profile of greyhounds making fantastic pets with the public and of course enjoy those wonderful greyhound cuddles too!

Everyday we enrich our kennel greyhounds with outings,

New toys to play with and grooming/pampering sessions with lots of our different volunteers.

Interactive toys, always great to watch each one tackling the puzzle in a different way.

We can provide this service on any of our scheduled walks, a private appointment or a Friday at Parklife, St James Park. Please phone or email us to make an appointment.
We are at St James Park, Parklife Cafe, Southampton every Friday between 10.30am-12pm, all are welcome to join us, plenty of greyhounds to share a cuddle with. Welcome to bring your own greyhounds too.
