It's A Week For The Boys!

This week we have welcomed in three new boys and have a few more yet to arrive with us!

Our new arrivals so far are Postie, Haven, Remus, Magma and Einstein.

Weasel is a real gentle lad, loves his toys and best of all enjoys that quality time with his human friends.

Weasel who is six years old.

Welly is seven years, he looks like a pup and acts like a young dog too!  He too is sweet natured and would love a sofa to curl up on!

Welly giving us he’s cheeky smile!

Unfortunately Chip has been returned to us through no fault of his own.  Although he is rather confused at the moment, he has settled back into kennel life with all his favourite kennel hands, considerably well.

Update – Chip has been homed!

For detailed information on all of these new arrivals please follow the link below.

Homings and Home Visits – During COVID, we have ensured extra checks on prospected new homes have been carried out by the team, to ensure our greyhounds will stay with their new family’s and not return to us after lockdown has eased.  This is and always has been a cruitial part of rehoming our greyhounds.

Before COVID we always had a waiting list for greyhounds coming in to our centre, after racing and normally a long list of famiiles waiting to home a dog too.  This is now not the case, we have nearly emptied our family waiting list!  We are also the ones waiting for the greyhounds to finish racing, to fill our empty kennels rather than the trainers waiting for spaces!  Who knows how long this will continue for but it is also very good news for the greyhounds too!

Reserved Dog:

Welly, Weasel, and Magma.

Homed Dogs:

Tequila and Chip.

Fully opening of our centre:

At the start of COVID 2020, we closed our centre to keep our precious kennel hands and greyhounds safe, as well as the public but also inline with government guidance.

Many shops and other venues are beginning to open up again.  Due to the number of dogs we have at the kennels and the way we are working now, we will continue to stay closed but pre-arranged appointments will continue.  If you are looking to purchase things at our shop, view or home a greyhound, cutting nails/corn treatment then these will all continue to take place but ONLY if they have been booked in and you have been given an appointment by one of our managers.
We will update you when our situation has changed, with details on and how we will proceed forward, ensuring we keep everyone safe and allowing out centre to re-open.
