Sunday 24th September at 10am – Great Global Greyhound Walk, we are hosting our walk at Bolton’s Bench, Lyndhurst.  Follow the link for more information.

England, Hampshire, Lyndhurst – Great Global Greyhound Walk

We will be bringing all our kennel dogs to the walk, please come along and support Greyhound Lifeline.  Drinks and snacks for both human and canine will be available at the end of the walk.

At the end of the walk we will be holding a raffle and home made doggie biscuits will be available to purchase, all funds raised will help care for our kennel greyhounds.

Join us for a nice walk, in a lovely location, surrounded by sighthounds and their humans.  We would love for you to stay on afterwards for a picnic.  (Please bring your own picnic with you).  We look forward to seeing you on the 24th September.

Event News:

Bank Holiday Monday in August was a very busy day for us, we attended two events and the greyhounds of course were very popular at both venues!

The day was full of fun for all of our volunteers, greyhounds and with the public too.  We sold lots of items on our stalls, especially the ‘Doggie ‘Pick n Mix’ Section’ and all those tasty treats too!

At the Rustic Fayre the teddy tombola did very well and only a few teddies were left by the end of the day!  Another popular game was the ‘Doggie Lucky Dip’, all ages wanted to have a go and win something for their furry friends!

The weekend was a huge success and not only did we raise funds for the greys in our care we also had one greyhound get reserved – Chancer and four other families showed interest in adoption too!  Since the event, two of those families have now reserved their own greyhounds too!

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us at both of these events and to our volunteers who all came to help before, during and after the event too!

Just For Fun!

Everyday we enrich our kennel greyhounds with outings,

New toys to play with and grooming/pampering sessions with lots of our different volunteers.

Interactive toys, always great to watch each one tackling the puzzle in a different way.

We have added a few of our favourite moments over the last couple of months, of our greyhounds really enjoying themselves!

We are looking for volunteers to join our fundraising team and help at our street collections both around Southampton and also around the Fleet area.  If you would like to find out more, please see poster below.

We can provide this service on any of our scheduled walks, a private appointment or a Friday at Parklife, St James Park.  Please phone or email us to make an appointment.

We are at St James Park, Parklife Cafe, Southampton every Friday between 10.30am-12pm, all are welcome to join us, plenty of greyhounds to share a cuddle with.  Welcome to bring your own greyhounds too.
