Trigger Has Been Homed

Trigger has been homed – 9.12.22.

Trigger is in kennels near Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 13th October 2022 and he was born on the 20th December 2018.

He is a friendly, affectionate, white and black lad who is looking for his own family.

Trigger enjoys being outside, on the go and being around people, no sad day with this boy around!  If you are a sporty person, or someone who enjoys the outside then this chap is your man!  After all that fun and exercise, Trigger will quite happily enjoy a long nap, in his bed, surrounded by his toys!

He can easily get into a car for his outings but can be quite lazy, at times, especially after a walk so a no-nonsense owner is needed, for those times!  Trigger understands the rules and will listen when told to jump in.  Once he is in, he will settle down quickly and will start to think about what the next adventure will entail, sometimes you have to wake him up when you are home again!

We are looking for a home with teenagers or an adult only family for the boy.  He loves his toys and can dash around collecting them all up so watch out whilst he is about! At racing weight this lad is 39kg, he’s a tall, chunky lad and you definitely know that when he dashes around, most of the time missing your legs but only just!

He enjoys a good game of football, catch the flying teddy and finding that squeaky toy to destroy it! Whether Trigger is he certain to have a tennis ball or two with him!  He will allow you to take his toys away from him but is still learning to share his toys with his greyhound friends.

Trigger is learning the rules of the house and so far, learnt that the kitchen is the best place to be, if he can help himself to food, he will so make sure all the goodies are safely locked away!  He takes in all everyday noises as they are something he has always heard – T.V, dishwasher, radio – none phase him at all.

Are you looking for an active greyhound or do you enjoy walking in the countryside?  Trigger could be the chap for you.  How can you not resist that puppy face and those gorgeous eyes!  He is a huge, cuddly teddy bear who just wants to have fun!

After all the dashing around, Trigger doesn’t enjoy more than a cuddle time with his human friends, he just loves to lean right into you.  This special time with his human friends are a must for every day and in return he will show how compassionate he is for you and your family.

Feeding times can be fun when Trigger is around, he is learning to wait his turn whilst his friends eat, this is quite difficult for him as he loves FOOD so MUCH!  At these times he gets so excited that he wags his tail and can bark in excitement.  He is learning that he needs to be patient but is going to take a little bit of time for this to sink in!  Trigger has food on the brain!

Trigger has a good appetite and will always show you a shiny, clean bowl when finished.  He is a typical lad, after he has finished his food, he will need a quick trip outside so he can go to the toilet!

This playful lad enjoys ‘bedtime’ or ‘quiet time’ where he can snooze whilst surrounded by his huge pile of favourite toys, sometimes it is hard to see if there is actually a dog in there by the amount of toys he has collected!

Trigger could be an only dog in the house or he could live with a female greyhound.  He has been tested with other breeds of dog and he just wants to be friends with everyone!

This lad, despite his size, energy levels, has a gentle nature however he can be over looked due to his size.  He can curl up really small when he wants to!  Trigger just wants to live life to the full and share adventures with a family that he can call his own.

Trigger would love to find his new family, could it be yours?  Make his day, ask for a viewing, fall in love with him, just like we have.

No cats please.
