Casper Has Been Homed

Casper has been homed – 23.10.22.

Casper is in foster care near Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 3rd October 2022 and he was born on the 22nd September 2018.

He is a confident, very friendly, inquisitive boy who likes to be on the go! He is a STUNNER to look at and when you meet him you will soon realise he has such a lovely, soft character with his human friends too!

Casper loves to be outdoors, he enjoys a good run so he can play with his favourite humans and toys!  If you like to walk and see different places than this boy is your man! He loves walking next to you, enjoying what he sees and looking up to you with a huge smile, to show how much he is enjoying being out and the love he has for you too!  What a lovely lad he is!

Casper enjoying some field fun!

What more does a boy need after a good walk….. nice food, special cuddles from his human friends and even some treats for being a good boy too!  All our happy, Casper wants is his own family.

Casper has taste and can be a little choosy about what he eats, but once he’s found his favourite food, there is no stopping this boy!  He always knows when you are in the kitchen and a little nose will appear around the door or next to you whilst you are cooking!  Casper is a very clever lad and knows if you’ve left any food out on the counter.  You may have thought it was hidden but not for this lad, he can be sneaky and quiet and before you know it, he has quietly lifted his paws and snatched it from the counter!  This boy is clever!

He would also like lots of yummy treats and food to be available, JUST FOR HIM!

He enjoys having cuddles with his human friends and will lean right into you, cuddle sessions usually end up with a face wash and special kisses, from your lovable lad!  Casper really is a sweet boy, you really couldn’t find a more handsome boy than this one.  His appearance may look like a ‘tough guy’ on the outside but inside he has a huge heart for all of his human friends.

This lad loves to be on the go, are you an active family who love the outdoors?  If so this is definitely the greyhound for you!

Casper enjoys chasing after a thrown toy but is very particular which toys he will pick up and run around with!

He loves squeaky and fluffy toys, if you are missing anything that is fluffy, you might find it in Casper’s bed!

This lad could live with another dog, breed and of any size but a careful introduction needs to take place to ensure everyone gets on with each others.   Casper could live with children over the age of 10 years, he can run at speed which could knock a smaller person over.  He may not look big but certainly has the power when he wants to use it!

Casper can get excited in the park particularly if he sees other dogs playing, all he wants to do is go and play.  He will need to learn some recall before this would be possible.  He always has a happy tail and enjoys meeting other dogs and owners whilst out.

This super chilled boy, (at times), would be quite happy to be left a few hours while someone works.  He would prefer a nice walk, some good food too and then he probably wouldn’t notice you popping out/go to work while he snores on his own warm, comfy bed.

Casper enjoying snoozing time with good friend Pinky!

Casper has been in foster care with us for the last two weeks, he is now house trained and is learning other manners such as knowing where to be when the humans are eating, waiting patiently for his treat turn and trying his best not to wake up too early in the AM!  He leaves that to his other friends; we normally have to wake him up for his breakfast time!

This cheeky chap has met lots of smaller dogs, horses, cows, pigs and sheep on our walks, he can get excited when he sees other dogs play but only because he wants to join in.  Casper has been very well behaved around smaller breeds, he now needs to continue this whilst meeting more dogs.

No cats please.

This stunning looking boy would fit into any active, family household who are keen walkers/enjoy outside sports or just love visiting new places.  Casper would just like his own family to call his own and keep his family entertained, while he just settles into home living!

Go on give the adoption line a call and find out more about this lovely lad.
