Lynx Has Been Homed

Lynx has been homed – 5.5.23.

Lynx is in kennels in Southampton, Hampshire, he arrived with us on the 7th March 2023 and he was born on the 27th of July 2018.

He is a friendly, gentle boy, who is looking for a family of his own.

Lynx LOVES his food and will always tell you that he is hungry, even when he has just been fed.

He is a chap that will take in his surroundings before deciding what he is going to do first.  Lynx enjoys being around people but would prefer a quieter home, no loud, young children, he finds them a bit too much at the moment! Everyday Lynx is showing us another part of his character and he really is a smashing boy, you don’t want to miss out on this lad!

Lynx isn’t quite sure what toys are yet and would prefer watching the other dogs play with them but has started to show an interest in soft cuddly ones.

This boy loves his sleep, he will find a quiet spot to lay down in and reappear a bit later for some more action!

Lynx will seek out his trusted, human companion for some cuddle time, which he just adores.  This lad will put his head on your chest and just gaze into your eyes, he really is a dream dog.

He definitely likes water, not only to drink but also to have a quick paddle in, (even when it is only March and it’s freezing outside!)  Lynx may need his own pool in his new home but let’s try for the summer months boy!

He enjoys his walks and walks very nicely on the lead, Lynx is learning how to get into a car unaided.  Lynx can find heavy traffic a bit too much at the moment, he would prefer to watch it go past before moving on.  He finds the dustbin lorry, lorries and ambulances a bit too much but is improving every time we see another one.

Lynx has met a range of other breeds of dog, he will use his social skills to greet each one correctly and has started to show some play behaviour around them too.  He is one cute boy who just wants to have fun with everything he meets, in a real gentle manner.

He could quite happily live in a home with children over the age of 10 years who are used to big dogs, although we will treat every prospect family individually and this may differ if we feel a family was right for our Lynx.   This chap could also be homed on his own or with a canine companion after careful introductions have taken place.
