Ben is in kennels near Fleet, Hampshire.
He is a black, castrated male with a friendly, fun and confident disposition who was born in May 2007.
Ben generally walks nicely on a lead although he can be excitable if something triggers his chase instinct.
He has met other breeds of dog and given us no cause for concern around them if introduced calmly. He’d benefit from more “meet and greets” with other breeds just as many recently retired greyhounds would. Ben has great potential and someone who is prepared to put in a little work will be well rewarded by this lad’s favourable responses.
Ben would be fine as an only pet or as a companion to another canine of medium size and above.
He’s been tested in a home and we’ve discovered that he can manage laminate flooring without problems, but he doesn’t like stairs.
No cats or small fluffies please.
